Everything I read about this one says to use indoors.
Each units covers approximately 2,500 square feet/230 square meters on any
single floor of building. It is recommended that one unit be placed on each floor
of a multi-story building. We also recommend the unit be placed as centrally as
possible in a one story home and home and that the unit be placed at opposite
ends of each alternate floor in multi-story buildings. Because commercial
buildings have their wiring installed within metal coverings, one pest offense is
required per floor space up to 1,500 square feet/132 square meters.
