Got these last time and really love them. When you zoom to the spotlight setting you get a square, since the LED is square. Not a problem for me but if that disturbs you you might not like them.

Video of T6 model, 2000 Lumen. Better than this one?

These lights are not robust. They are infact bright but both of mine stopped working due to poor craftsmanship. Even at the low price, it’s not worth it.

Size matters?

  • Flashlights are 6 inches tall
  • Dimensions: 2”x2”x5.5” (each flashlight)

So which is it? Are they 5 1/2 or are they 6 inches tall?

It’s actually 5-1/8 inches tall, measured by standing the light on the bulb or light end and measuring to the switch end.

So now we have three different dimensions - can the Woot Wizards correct a couple of them to reflect reality?

This is a small, very bright light. I have no way to measure output, so I can’t comment on 800 lumen. Previously, I purchased the Lenser P7, described as 175 lumen, and the Dorcy 41-4278, described as 290 lumen; both from Woot. The Elite 800 appears at least as bright as the Dorcy, if not brighter. I liked the one set of Elite 800 so much that I ordered another set. I should have taken the risk and ordered two sets at once to save the additional $5.00 shipping.

I’ve had no problem with mine. I use them once or twice a day when they’re on for a few minutes, at most. I haven’t run over them with a truck or froze them in a block of ice, as some of the advertisements for tac lights show.

I got these about 1 month ago. They are super bright. They are not super well built but tough enough for most drops and usage. For $6 a piece they are a pretty good deal.

So what exactly about these flashlights is problematic? Is it the switch, zoom, battery/holder, or the machining? What causes them to fail? I need some cheap lights and would like to know.

Poor quality, not worth it.

Specs say 3 AAA batteries.
Thats not right, is it?

i can’t figure out what battery to put in here.

The 4th picture in the photos shows a holder for 3 batteries.
