Impressive that the Features states it’s a titanium alloy shell, and the fourth illustration helps explain the high lumen count by pointing out it’s Alumilum.
From the vendor:
It is an alloy which is a combination of metals so that is correct. We can the term titanium alloy.
CHEAP! both of mine broke the first couple of times I used them. Don’t waste your money.
I’m sorry! These have a 90 day woot warranty. Please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
Apparently, alumilum is the Chinese variant (as well as the preferred pronunciation of Parks and Recreation’s Andy Dwyer) on the US spelling of aluminum, or the international aluminium (originally proposed by discoverer Sir Humphry Davy as alumium). Once again, I’m undone by the lack of a sarcasm font.
LOL. I asked if the vendor could maybe update that image.
These don’t work
Mine work just fine. I just got them in the mail yesterday and they worked great. I’ll definitely be using them on a regular basis.
