I haven’t seen Elo touch screens in a while. I’ve installed a number of models similar to this for a certain medical laboratory corporation of America. Those things are/were incredibly reliable - though the trade off was the fairly low resolution for a modern screen.
Still, I can clearly see these being useful for kiosk type systems. Or maybe even as a user interface for a DIY home automation system. The screen should be good for a long time.
