Do you happen to know what the GSM or thread count is?

#4

Total dumb, man question here. What is the difference in texture and feeling between polyester and cotton? I usually use jersey sheets unless I want something that stays cool and then I use an old muslin sheet that my dad gave me from the 1970’s. Other than the print (denim patchwork) it is the single best sheet I have ever owned.

The description says 85 gsm.

I bought some chocolate sheets from woot last October that I really like. They are solid, so I got a set of these as well. The ones from before are also 100% polyester microfiber, and I think they are soft and comfortable. They have also held up really well, no shrinking with repeated washings.

Here. Textile help.

#7

I’d like to know the thread count as well. Thanks.

I bought these from Woot a while back and love them. Super comfy, smooth, and cool. Definitely picking up a few more today. If they’d sell a microfiber comforter next then I’d be in heaven.

#9

The size for that full sheet should be 54 x 75, not 24 by 75, right?

I’m not being smart, I’m being confused. I thought I had a double bed, and everything being sold says full. So I’m trying to look up double vs. full and see if they are the same or where my education has fallen short or WHATEVER!

So I’m only 83% sure that Woot’s size chart is off. The rest is me possibly not understanding bed sizes.

#10

How deep are the pockets on the King? My mattress is 20" deep…

#11

Woot Admin, would you please confirm the fitted size for the full sheet?

Thanks

#12

Fitted sheets are 14" deep

#13

Bummer. Thanks…

#14

I bought these last time they were on Woot. They are terrible. They are super thin and if you roll over in bed the sheet pops off the mattress. Its big enough, it just has nothing strong holding it on.

I hate them, every morning I have to reattach the sheet to the mattress. Fitted my ass.

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

Threadcount: Threadcount is not given for microfiber. They give GSM instead. These are listed as 85 GSM.

Fitted Sheet Dimensions: Yeah, that was wrong. It’s fixed now. 54” x 75”

#16

They are terrible, as another poster wrote, they fall off the mattress every night, there is about 6" per corner of elastic on the fitted sheet, and even the elastic is poor quality and super loose. I guess you get what you pay for - SKIP this one.

#17

Maybe I’m out of touch but I just don’t think I even want to try sleeping on 100% poly (plastic) sheets. Only 100% cotton (300-500 TC) for this old dude and I just deal with the wrinkles.

#18

I agree, they do not stay on the corners at all. Wasted my money last time they were on Woot

#19

So, if you cut these up into 3"x3" squares, will they be just like the little microfiber cloths for cleaning glasses that you pay $2 for? Hmmmmmm…

Horrible sheets. Got them before and actually just threw them away when i opened them. You can actually see through them without holding up to a light source. Save your money.
