Let’s compare hard-anodized-cookware-vs-non-stick-cookware and non-stick vs. stainless steel

Here are some good reviews

What exactly does “Glass safe to 350°F” mean?

The lids are glass so it means they can withstand temperatures up to 350 F

If the quality is what I’ve experienced with Emeril knives, I’ll pass. I threw the rusty things away after one washing.

I’ve had the regular (non-non-stick?) set for 2+ years now, I use them constantly, and I love them. They are rugged, with even heat. They clean up easily. Of course, I have no idea how the coating on the non-stick version stands up, but I can recommend the brand. I vaguely remember the salesclerk telling me the regular set was a lower priced manufacture by all-clad. Don’t know if it’s true, but someday when I hit the lottery I’m gonna get a set of all-clad…

Does anyone own this set? I Need to know if the bottom is smooth, or if they have groves in them…

I don’t own them, but on the amazon reviews they talk about the grooved bottoms. Why?

We did not get samples of these. Hopefully a wooter can pop in with an answer.

UPDATE: GOT AN ANSWER! The Emeril cookware base is not smooth. If you look at this set, it’s the same.

Ten or so years ago the Emeril stainless set was manufactured by All-Clad, but it was clearly marked. If yours didn’t say All-Clad on the box, then I think the sales clerk was confusing it with the old set.

went to the All Clad factory sale and saw Emirrill cookware there. it looks like All Clad makes this cookware for Emirrill
