Dvds and vcr tapes are the only way to actually own your movies. Purchased digital content versions can be become unavailable if there are any potential licensing restrictions or any other reason

I remember when I was in high school (late 80’s) my best friend and her mom would tape everything. They had at least one (probably more) floor to ceiling wall to wall shelves full of vhs tapes

It’s so hip and is a classic. Many Gen Z’s are pondering the cost/savings of DVDs over the rapidly declining streaming services. And they’re excited at the addition of a VCR—a foreign concept to them—which is being interpreted as a kicka** AVR. Why else would it have a $350 plus price tag?
