if you add up the cost of the bulbs and shipping, these turn out to be $6.66 per bulb. Not only is this not a good deal, but you have now invited Beelzebub to illuminate your home…no thanks.

3000K is a more blueish light
I prefer 2700K

And by the time you figure in shipping… they’re several dollars cheaper at the mother ship on Amazon.

I believe that’s “Beelzebulb”.

Home Depot has the same spec Philips bulbs for $4.97 for a 2-pack. That’s about $2.50/bulb.

A woot-off on my birthday? How droll. Stop the coach!

Let’s not overlook the fact that they are $1 more in the woot off than they were a couple weeks ago! WTH Woot. Amazon ruined you.

Those ones @HD, while excellent, aren’t dimmable.

Hey Wooters! My name is Rob and I represent the manufacturer of these lights. If you have any questions, please ask. Have a great day!

Aww. I just bought these and saw the comment about the Phillips bulbs. I don’t think I really need the dimming capabilities. Went to cancel the order 11 minutes after placing it and it told me I couldn’t because it had been more than 15 minutes and the gears were already in motion.

You can get LEDs with the same specs for about $3 a bulb at Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Costco.

I just bought a 3 pack of 600 lumen, 2700K, dimmable LED bulbs at Costco yesterday for $9 ($3 a bulb). That was with a $6 instant rebate and it might be a local thing (bought in Long Beach).

And oh yea, these were the good ones, i.e. they have a 25,000 hour life.

I’m really sorry about that- sometimes orders get sent off more quickly. You might try emailing into our CS team, they should be able to offer you options: form here.

couldn’t cancel order after 3 minutes

Sorry but we do not allow cancellations on orders that have a woot-off item.

Some of these tricky wooters (not you) would game the system to force a sellout.

You can use the Support form linked at the top of the page to contact customer support to see if they have options. Include your Woot username and order number for faster service.

The Philips ones are also 2700K color temperature, which is pretty common at big box stores. These are 3000K, which is more suitable to my liking.

Ordered these and only received 1 bulb not 6. Was offered a choice of keeping the single bulb and a partial refund of $8 (wtf?) or a full refund with RMA and return of single bulb. Old Woot would of made this right. Live and learn.

Same thing happened to me, but Woot has yet to respond to my email.
