Good Morning. These bulbs and downlights are above 80CRI. The difference between 80 and 94 CRI (the highest made that I know of) is most likely unnoticeable to the naked eye.
A small amount of stores have a local utility rebate applied for a short period of time. Another reason may be the quality difference.
