This has to be a mistake. These are on ebay for $11 to $14. The only option that comes close to the $100+ retail price is for 10 four packs.
This is happening so often at this point
This might be one of those phony listings for where they say “Seen elsewhere for $79.99.”
@Wooter426934042 @Wooter151982137
And if you click on the 5,446 Amazon Reviews - your find out of all those mainly 4 & 5 star reviews there are ZERO with actual text reviews rather than just numerical ratings. Tempting to order one batch here except A) I don’t have an extra $73 at the moment and B) I really don’t need any more rechargeable “AA” batteries…
I believe I’ve found the Amazon listing - same # of reviews, but no current price or availablity
This item shows as OUT OF STOCK on Amazon. It is likely a scam.
@Wooter151982137 @TheJarOKnowledge
Interestingly, on the UK site, it’s there (the ASIN actually leads to the UK site), but it doesn’t ship to the US of A.
I can’t right now, but if someone can check the ASIN this is referring to, see how it’s listed on Amazon. Oops, someone did. ![]()
Even if this were a 4-pack of four packages (i.e. 16 batteries), I don’t think this would be a bargain. Someone’s smoking a huge Bong of Crack here.

Okay, ASIN B07FKKSDFC leads to this for $104.36 (business price).
- Item model number ‏ : ‎ E300795800
- Batteries ‏ : ‎ 4 AA batteries required. (included)
- Manufacturer ‏ : ‎ GadgetCenter
All reviews appear to be from another country. I call BS on this listing.
Definitely not a deal! Do better Woot!
Bong of Crack
LMAO Thank you for this ![]()
PRICE DROP!
Small Print: If you already purchased, that money will hop back into your pockets soonish.
Make sure you do some research.. these are 1350 mAh. AMZ has a 4 pack of these that are 2000 mAh for $16.29 which isn’t much more than the new price here for quite a bit more capacity.
Also, the original AMZ listing does appear to have been for a non US country/currency.. so the pricing may have gotten mixed up in translating things to woot!'s listing.
“The world’s 1st rechargeable AA battery made with 4% recycled batteries”
Very specific “world’s 1st”. Are there any others made with 3% or even 5% recycled batteries?
Edit: and the photo shows 7%! That’s a first for sure.
The listing I found on AMZN was in USD, with fulfillment/delivery next day.
But all reviews were foreign. If I understand you, the product and price got munged (and the foreign exchange rate can’t be THAT atrocious, right?).
Yeah that does seem like a huge disparity.. probably not what happened really.
