Here’s one discussion about doing the reversal in Word/Excel.
http://bit.ly/OKmX5s
It starts off discussing a reversal of the whole sentence but eventually gets to the kind of reversing done here.

Lots of discussions/solutions in Java … apparently doing this is a popular homework assignment!

Spoiling the fun (read: frustration): Reverse Text Generator - Text Mechanic

Neat tool! Use the option to “Reverse Each Word’s Lettering” to make today’s description appear normal.

I hope the genius in marketing who thought this was a good way to promote sales notices that most people aren’t even discussing the product. Distracting attention away from what you’re selling equals fail.

Thanks for the feedback!

Or rather, he should listen to this song (specifically their version, not the original), or this song, and the backward messages will reach out, grab him, and make him kill himself! Then his family can file a frivolous lawsuit, and we can all say this.

Reading that was amusing.

My brain hurts.

Thanks Undune! I was curious, but lazy.

Bought this sustem a month ago, and when I saw it on the Sellout Woot I HAD TO GET ANOTHER.The first one I hooked up to my computer and the sound is great. The other one I plan on using with my tablet when I cook out on my patio. Thanks WOOT>>>>:)

If you’re blessed with a UNIX-derived OS, you can simply open a command shell and invoke the rev command, like:

$ rev
This is in reverse!
!esrever ni si sihT

I would suggest Reverse Text Generator - Text Mechanic specifically, and http://textmechanic.com/ in general for any text conversion needs you may have.

Encryption, code, flip, reverse, scramble, symbols, numbers, whatever. Pretty much a one stop shop. All those sites use the same source code (for the most part) for their web apps, but text mechanic really brings them all under one roof.

One notable and very odd exception you don’t see much is a true backwards text generator. Leonardo da Vinci famously wrote backwards as a sort of “code” in his notes. Most sites don’t do this, but luckily it’s the easiest to do on your own: A) take screenshot of text, flip it horizontally; or B) write in something like Paint and rotate that text horizontally.

Here’s a length limited “hand-writing” generator of Leonardo style reverse writing. http://www.msichicago.org/scrapbook/scrapbook_exhibits/leonardo/handwriting/index.html

You must be new here.

Thanks for the info everyone. I’m excited to play around with textmechanic!

With only 20% sold in 23 hours your statement may be getting more use at woot tomorrow!
