You mean no cable? it is a charger. (wireless) and it comes with the cable.
I mean no car thing to plug into your lighter. Yes it has the cable, but not the actual power producing thing.

Ah, ok, see your point. Manufactures are most likely finding that people already have the USB cig outlet or their car has a USB port in the dash somewhere.
