Hey Woot, is this the blue or red display version? I’m assuming blue as shown in the pictures here but would like a confirmation before buying.

Edit: Nevermind, I’m an idiot.

“The brilliant blue LED alpha-numeric display is easily read in direct sunlight, and features five selectable levels of brightness for optimum night or evening use.”

Yeah, try mounting it on the windshield pointing forward and not in the glove box.

With that said, I agree, if your talking laser. If your talking KA or K band, you are, well, simply WRONG. I have two and been ticket free since 2009. And yes, like millions of other drivers, I go faster then the posted limit. I drive a VW Passat TDI (2013) so just trying to spread the pollution faster while getting 50+ mpg.

I agree. Laser you are done. But anything else we good.

I wish they make one of these that use two double A batteries…The cord thing is very annoying…

You mean specifically a battery powered 9500iX? Or one of these?

You can get a flat smart cord then tuck it into trim from mirror area, then down along window trim and then under dash to accessory outlet.

Examples please?

Look on Amazon, they sell a ton of straight chords.

This is a pretty good unit. I have been using it for many years with no trouble. Its very sensitive and the GPS feature works great. You can lock out nuisance detections on your daily commute. I highly recommend the “Escort Sticky Cup” mount which is quite nice. The stock suction cups will drop it during temperature swings, especially after a few years of use.

Do these require a monthly fee? Or can you use fine without paying? Thanks!

No required fees. Here’s the product page with other things you can order if you want
