Been on the cruise ships at Navy Pier Chicago. It’s not an extended cruise but long enough to have full service lunch or dinner

Yes, but it was on a wooden sailing ship in the Caribbean in 1979. Slept in a bunk room. Great adventure.
I wouldn’t go on one of those giant monstrosities if you paid me. Other family members love them. I would consider a river cruise.

No, and I never really got why they are a thing still. But it may be cool to some people, it just not my idea of a fun time.

Do small to medium sized s/y yachts - short and long trips - count? One sailing vacation lasted almost three months.
