In Woot’s defense, it was $340 prior to Amazon putting it on sale also. Woot can still tell us how they get their “deals separate” from Amazon, but 99% of the time it’s on sale here, it’s on sale at Amazon too, and typically within a few dollars of each other. Woot has become the dumping ground for overstocked outdated Amazon products that no longer sell at other retail stores. We constantly see them clearing the same items at the same time as Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon.
I am in the market for one of these as a gift. This one seems almost exactly what I wanted, but at this discount I won’t buy it out of principal.
To help decide on which model you may want; here is what I found:
This 3500B in 5-tray goes for the $110 price on Woot regularly.
The 3900B in 9 tray goes for $130 on Woot (July)
The 3926TW in 9 tray goes for $150 on Woot (August)
The 3926TB in 9 tray goes for $175 on Woot (June)
It’s been suggested that the Cosori brand is better because it uses metal pieces instead of plastic. On top of this it’s noticeably cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/COSORI-Dehydrator-Stainless-Temperature-Compliant/dp/B07PY5M579 it has a $20 applicable coupon today also.
