I have an older version of this model, and it’s bloody great!
As for the lack of a timer… Somehow I’ve managed to dry hundreds of pounds of food over the years including hamburger, fruits leathers, puppy treats, backpacking meals… and never once needed a timer.
Don’t know… Maybe I’m doing it wrong?
