I’m confused. Here it says it’s 600 watts but the same model on Amazon says its only 450 watts. Which one is it and why the difference?
Hi there. We confirmed with our vendor that it is 600 watts.
I bought this model Excalibur last time it was sold on Woot.
It works perfectly. Beef jerky in 6-8 hours. Fruit or vegetable bites in 4-6 hours.
Cleanup is OK if you have a large sink or tub. The trays won’t fit in smaller kitchen sinks.
My neighbor kids beg me to make them more jerky!
I have 2 of these. Just ordered my 3rd. Unless I have a different model which I don’t think I do. I make jerky in 4 hours give or take half hour . Even the thicker 1/4 inch thick cuts finish in 5 hours. I confirmed my other 2 machines are 600 watts. I believe the 450w is the 5 tray or smaller. Good price compared to current pricing. But I want to say when I bought my first one 3 or 4 years ago. I paid 160-180.
