First time I’ve ever reached the waiting list…at least I’m progressing…
Despite the warnings I bought one of these from woot and yes, it broke. It now won’t connect to the Eye Fi center. It also doesn’t do the basics that it says it will, for example, backing up the pictures then rolling them off the card when it gets full. I have it set up so I never run out of space by doing this but… doesn’t work. The last time I checked the Eye Fi center it looked like nothing was backed up (pictures gone) and it started backing up the very first pictures I took again. But it only backed up about 5 then stopped. I did a full manual backup of it to get my pics off and went back to my old 32 GB card.
This is a product that is supposed to make life easier but causes nothing but problems.
So close…
