Cast aluminum doesn’t work well on induction.
Cast aluminum, if pure, basically won’t work at all on induction. However, the manufacturers don’t tend to use 100% aluminum. (In some cases, only the bottom of the pan is not 100% aluminum.) In this case, the manufacturer rates this pan as being recommended for induction.
You should always check on the manufacturer’s website to see if they recommend their cookware for induction cooking.
