Famous Maker 27” Widescreen 1080p LCD Monitor with HDMI

what does tssi stand for?

I want this soooo bad. I have the 24" version, and it is a fantastic display. I hope they last until my spouse wakes up so I can ask permission to purchase this un-budgeted eye candy.

oooooohhh, I want it!

this was in a wootoff back in january

and i think this is the HP site for the monitor

Debranded branding irons?
Good one Woot.

Haha… someday someone’s going to start a brand called “Famous Maker” and ruin all the fun.

What a great HP… er… HD monitor!

then just take the “punishment”

the first time i saw these tvs on woot, i thought famous maker was a brand of tvs, went looking for it online

This seems to be a good deal compared to other sites selling the same item!

$289.99 = ComputerGeeks.com

$302.95 = StarSurplus.com

Bought it back in the woot-off. Had to return it due to a bunch of stuck green and blue pixels in the upper right corner.

I don’t think you should be allowed to call a 27" TV with 1080p vertical resolution a “Monitor.” Any self respecting monitor maker wouldn’t make a 27" computer monitor that’s only 1080p max resolution. Come on.

A similar monitor seems to be retailing for almost double?

I bought a 20 inch monitor that looked just like this for my dad’s pc. Hooked it up and it looks great. Picked up this one and hope it works the same.
I have to agree, it looks like a HP monitor, which are good monitors.

That one is an off-brand and 16:10 whereas the one of Woot is a HP and 16:9. The HP also has better contrast ratio and comes with an DVI input.

Using this monitor now, and I have never had a single issue with it. I love it.

so anyone know what tssi stands for?

in other words, gatsby you here?

Of course it’s HP. All “famous maker” monitors are HP.

Oh, in for one!

Meh, no energy star kicks it for me… no matter what… I have a thought as to what TSSI stands for, but I am still trying to get my second Quality post… nother time perhaps…
