Maybe you made the same mistake I made. I picked on on clearence at Walmart for $3 ! I found a spare charger I had and plugged it in and it did exactly like you described. THEN I read the small print on the housing and saw that it called for a wall charger with an’‘Output voltage: 5V 2Amp’’ and the charger I had used was 5 volt BUT Only 1 amp. Dug around and found one with the 2 amp output and presto…works flawlessly. Hopefully this is your problem too and you can get yours to work. Mine even charges through the Otterbox housing on my Note 8.
ps. I too saw them last week on AliExpress.com and they were only 58 cents each when you bought 10 units… plus free shipping! Crazy how cheep China can make ‘‘stuff’’
