Never been
Whichever one my sister and her husband currently live on, which I believe is the Big Island, Hawai’i.
Nearly 12 hours in to this poll and no Grumpy Old Men reference? Comeoniwannalaya! Nothin’….hello….is this thing on?

With so many places to see, I’m reluctant to visit any place repeatedly. Hawaii is the one exception, which was made easier by my airline job. By far, The Big Island is my favorite. I take great pride in having returned my rental car with an extra 600 miles on the odometer, despite cutting off a substantial amount by “illegally” traversing Saddle Road a couple of times. The ever-changing Volcanoes National Park is one of the most fascinating places on the planet.
Couldn’t tell you. Haven’t been. But we’re planning a trip out there this thanksgiving, so I’ll tell you then.
Molokai is the most relaxing island
The island of misfit toys.
RIP
Bit farther south. Also, be carefu! It is easy to confuse with that neighboring abominable island.
Great medical facilities too! They can treat all types of exotic diseases.
My kids and I did this one night, it’s one of my favorite excursions I’ve ever taken in the islands. They come right up against you while feeding. It’s realllllly impressive because these things are HUGE. The water is dark and it’s kinda freaky the first time you are staring down into the darkness and this giant alien creature comes swimming up from 50 feet down and coming right at you. Like, you know you are safe, but that reptile part of your brain is like, nope, nope, noooooope! What are doing!?! Flee, you fools!
Kaho’olawe all the way, baby!
The ninth island
Niihau cuz its forbidden
It’s very rural and perhaps the most authentic now. It also was the site of leper colonies (not to worry). It does not look like the set of the Walking Dead. Leprosy is thankfully treatable with many antibiotics. You are more likely to be exposed if you handle armadillos.
Never been. When I go I’ll let you know.
