FedEx Sucks!

#1

So, on the 20th, Woot sent my wireless router out to me via FedEx. On the 25th, FedEx reported that they have the wrong address. Except they don’t - the address is correct. I even live in a city on a grid system, so I’m not hard to find at all. I called last night and was told to call back in the morning when the local office was open. I did, and was told that she sent them a message, and that they would try again before next Tuesday. WTF??? It’s Wednesday - why would they have to wait a week to attempt delivery, when it’s already at my local office??? Grrrrrrrrrrr

well, thats a rare occasion for FedEx but have you used DHL home, this is what happens , not on occasion, all the time. After the shipper sends the shipping information to DHL, it taks them two days to pick it up. It takes three days to travel across two states, on both of those days, the online tracking shows that it is still proscessing in the place it started then magicly apppears two states closer, then they give it to the postal service but the tracking page still says that it is being proscessed at warehous #2. As you might of guessed, it took the postal service a week to ship it across 4 states and it (a 6.1 sound system) finally arived a week and a half after it was shpied but then, it was the postal service, a 6.1 sound system does not fit in a mailbow. The mail lady had the brite idea to put it next to the ailbox where it got rained on! Pay the extra dollar and get UPS.

FedEX > UPS

UPS has “attempted delivery - no one home” with me sitting on the front doorstep all day long too many times for me to like them as a delivery service.

Fedex plays soccer with my packages.

I like my FedEx guy, he even knows not to come too early in the morning. [;)]

I apologize for invading your forum up front, but feel this is worth while and will only take 15 seconds away from a chat.

Give the Gift of Site

Please donate any used pair of prescription glasses to help both children and adults that cannot afford clear vision, to see for the first time.

Not asking for money, just one pair (or as many as you can find laying around [h] ) to help people that cannot afford to see.

I will post pictures and stories from the Sonora, MX mission I will be on in September off site to show you what your contributions meant to the people in need.

Please send them to;

Luxottica Retail
Attn: Woody1
4000 Luxottica Place
Mason, OH 45040

I appreciate woot for allowing this to post, and the person with the most pairs sent in by Sept 12th, (nudge factor coming, and send them all together please, so they can be counted) will get a package worth over $500 including a new Home Toshiba DVD Recorder and Dell 5.1 speaker set. This comes out of my pocket; this is just one of many, and I do mean many, charities I try to support.
