Hmmm… Sounds authentic. And I’m pretty sure the Dutch were actually using Glucose-Fructose Syrup and Palm oil two hundred years ago when they invented these waffles.
I haven’t tried these and they may be great… but the marketing departments take so many liberties, I get turned off.

I’ve tried many brands of Stroopwafels. These are probably the best. I haven’t run across one yet that hasn’t listed glucose syrup as an ingredient.
