We got a Fissler pressure cooker and it’s been very useful. Adds a new dimension to cooking as it extracts flavors and tenderizes in tens of minutes vs hours upon hours before. Works especially well on induction cooktops too.

My only advice is to get the 10L, I have the 8L and often wish I had just a little more capacity.

These work very well. We have both the large and small and use them frequently.

Pressure oookers are great. For the love of all that is holy and sacred DONT BUY IT FOR MPOTHERS DAY! Buy one for yourself, and get mom the flowers!!! ( just trying to save everyone from the “look” only mom can launch)

I urge anyone one who does not have a pressure cooker to get one. It’s a whole new cooking experience. There are several websites for pressure cooking recipes.

One pic I saw here had a pan that can be used for cheese cake. Pressure cooked cheese cake is better than oven cooked.

I don’t have this cooker, I have an electric. But I know this brand has an excellent reputation.

So true ! Happy mothers day mom,now whats for dinner?

So no women have complained about cooking products being listed in the MOM section yet?

No, no this is an incorrect statement
Buy one for yourself AND for the Mom
Then make sure to use yours to cook her a great Mother’s Day meal and make sure she knows you’ve done it in the pot.

If you only purchase 1 and have the room for it - 10L is the only way to go.

I’m very tempted to purchase a 4.5 for myself already owning a couple 10 now that the price of these are back down to a low.

I must refrain as I run out of space.

So while doing some research on these, it seems like the company will only warranty if purchased from an authorized reseller. I don’t see Woot on that list. Of all the less than stellar reviews on Amazon, most seem to be faulty valves in the handle, which are covered under warranty, but again only from an AR. Has anyone here had a warranty issue with theirs?

You say, “Kablooey!” We say, “Hooey!”

Wasn’t the Boston Marathon yesterday? Tacky, W00T. Just tacky.

Seriously though, nothing says “I love you mom!” like telling her to get in the kitchen and cook you something.

I guess that sticks with the tacky theme.

I bought the 10L from woot and the handle wasn’t working. I called the company and they sent me a new one, no questions asked and without needing any proof!! The customer service was as fantastic as the product, the “Cadillac of Pressure Cookers”.

When you say company, which one - Woot or Fissler?

That would be Fissler. We wouldn’t have parts for these.
