I’m not liking my Charge a whole lot(not HR–although I wish I HAD gotten the HR). I mean, I love it’s performance electronically, but, the little metal latch on the wrist band keeps falling off and I keep dropping it here and there and everywhere. One of these days, it’s going to fall off and I won’t have a clue how many steps I walked that day! Maybe when that happens, I’ll get the HR! ROFLMAO!!! NOT!

I have the Charge HR. It’s OK, mainly use to track my steps and sleep. However there is a KNOWN BUG whereby the device stops synching. You can read about it on their website. Waiting for a fix, in the meantime I cannot see my history or even set the time! Not great.

I purchased one of these for my wife back in November (the flex), and the day after Christmas could not get it to sync to FitBit… contacted FitBit, they had me return it. It could not be fixed, but they would not honor the Woot/refurbished warranty… so be careful! Woot handled it well, and all is OK in the world!

As the sale notes, these are not warrantied by FitBit.

Warranty: 60 Day Replacement Limited Warranty

For warranty support, please call 844-477-9429 Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 12PM; 1:00PM - 5:00 PM PST. As long as you are in the 60 day window there is a no-questions-asked replacement guarantee for any Fitbit item that arrived defective. You will receive a replacement Fitbit with a return label for the defective unit.

Yay!!! Thank you so much for this information! I will call them now!

I spoke to the Warranty folks and they said this is a known flaw with that unit. However, the HR is a watch and doesn’t need a clasp. I’d like to upgrade and pay the difference, but, they said I need to talk to you about it.

Woot, I’m officially done with you! Your site has gone to shit, not the same company that I met in Plano. Customer service is no longer a concern for you, since it’s now all done through India.

I ordered a FitBit Charge for my wife as a gift, realized by morning it was the wrong size and ordered another of the correct size. Not only would you not cancel my order, which hadn’t shipped yet (and still hasn’t shipped, probably not even close because your processing time is so damn slow) but you also told me you were going to charge me a 15% restocking fee! Seriously?! Who charges restocking fees? I haven’t heard anyone doing that for the past 20 years. I guess you must be hurting so bad that you have to nickel and dime your customers to pay your employees to put something back in the warehouse? Something that hasn’t even left the warehouse?! Something unopened and unused?! Not only that but I won’t be reimbursed shipping charges (for something that shouldn’t ship) and I’ll have to pay the return shipping as well.

I seriously haven’t dealt with this poor of customer service from any company (besides cable companies, but that’s expected from them). So I hope my 15% was worth it to you, because this will be the last Woot purchase I ever make.

Beware that quite a few people (including myself) are less than thrilled with the responsiveness of the folks referenced below. Be ready to contact them multiple times to get resolution of any problems.

I am happy to say that I had no problem with them at all! They answered the phone right away and were happy to send a replacement. However, when I told her about my band being all wonky she said they were getting lots of complaints and I said if that was the case, I don’t want another one. She said the HR is a watch band and did not have that problem. We will have to wait and see what the outcome is!

bought 2 with last sale before Christmas. had to return both since they were defective. no replacement still. has been 3 weeks. do not buy.

Fitbits are like Zippos. Almost no-questions-asked warranty. They just mail you a new one when yours breaks.
Unlike a Zippo, it will break and you will need the warranty.

Woot off said “order today receive by Friday” and I ordered on a Wednesday. Estimated ship date is Feb 11… Two weeks after I placed my order.

Hmm, if you haven’t, please email support@woot.com with your order info and issue. CS can check into your account and order details.

Well after 2 weeks the battery is shot…this happens with every smart watch refurb I buy from woot (granted we’re 2 for 2 now). Luckily FItbit gave me a one-time exception and is replacing it instead of going through the Woot warranty process they’ll hook me up with a new one. I guess woot isn’t an authorized dealer for fitbit?

Woot is an authorized dealer. Did you contact through the warranty link on the product page?
