mixed reviews on Amazon, three 5 star and three 1 star

OK reviews (3.0 out of 5.0) on the AAA over at amazon

PCMag.com finds these “trashworthy”

3 people gave it the lowest rating and three the highest and thats OK?

To be fair, two of the three negative reviews are criticism of the company and it’s green-ness (or lack therof) rather than of the product itself.

Do not confuse people with the tone of “trashworthy”. You made it sound like it’s junk, when in fact they meant it is safe to be discarded in a trash bin with all others.

Oh, Internet… reading headlines only and making assumptions

No real specs on these anywhere on the Fuji website that I could find. I think they are suitable for low-drain devices (i.e. not digital cameras). It does confirm that they are alkaline chemistry. And that the battery case is also plastic, not steel. :frowning: Think twice before putting these in an expensive device. The ‘tests’ that find these equal or superior to major brands are nowhere to be found. A pass for me at this price point since I have to pay sales tax here now. Thanks for that, Amazoot.

When will we get a deal on 9 volt batteries? They are very expensive at retail outlets. I wish Woot! would offer some good deals.

These Fuji batteries are seriously trashworthy. I bought like 96 or so of these in AA previously and they are so terrible that they won’t power most devices fresh out of the box.

Do not buy these.

I think you should be thanking them for helping to put off the inevitable for as long as they did.

I saw the thumbnail first, and thought BuckyBalls had made a miraculous comeback.

RIP BuckyBalls.

For $10, even if only half work I’m still counting this as a win

Free shipping makes Sears deal better.

Sears offers the DieHard AAA Alkaline Battery 20-Pack (pictured), model no. 41-1177, for $5.09. Plus, Shop Your Way Max members bag free shipping. (Not a member? It’s free to sign up for a 90-day trial; otherwise, shipping adds $5.99.) That’s a few cents under our mention from March (although that deal was for Craftsman Club members only via in-store pickup) and the lowest total price we could find for this quantity shipped by $12.
Also available is the DieHard AA Alkaline Battery 20-Pack, model no. 41-1173, for $5.09. Plus, Shop Your Way Max members bag free shipping (otherwise shipping adds $6.50). That’s a buck under our March mention (although that deal was for for Craftsman Club members only via in-store pickup) and the lowest total price we could find for this quantity shipped by $14.

I thought this was a great deal until I saw there was a charge for shipping. Not sure I want to spend that much on a battery that I have never heard of and there are alot of negative reviews.

I got these previously with a blue cover instead of the ‘green’. They are still kicking after a few months powering up our remotes, specifically our Wii Remotes.

I’ll have to check my supply and if I’m low I’ll be ordering. Pretty good battery. It’s not an amazing battery, but it gets the job done.
