Bought this last time on Woot. Easy to assemble with pretty good assembly instructions. The toys get the cats’ attention. Note: Energetic cats WILL kill the mouse VERY quickly. I’m looking for another bungee toy that I can staple there, knowing the cats will just kill more, but have fun doing it.

We have a pretty big cat, probably 11 pounds now, do you think it would fit in the enclosed portion?

I would say probably not. I have a similar one, and my cat used to sleep in the hole part when he was a kitten but I don’t think he fits anymore. He’s about 10-11 lbs too. But, he does love his cat tree and it’s moved with us several times.

I became tired of my cat killing everything bungee, so I went to the craft store and bought the elastic string for $3.

Now every toy is renewed for about 10 cents.

For those stick toys where the sticks break, go to the hardware store and buy the 36" PVC sink connectors. They are a $1-$2 and will outlast your cat.

So, is this covered with the thin stuff that’s supposed to be like imitation fur (about as thick as a facial tissue), or actual carpet?

Ah-- same manufacturer as one I bought from Amazon a while back. Didn’t even finish unpacking the box before I wrapped it up to send it back. My cats aren’t destructive, but they’d go through that thin material in a heartbeat. I guess carpet remnants are just too expensive.
