I have an espresso machine I bought years ago & only used it maybe 5 times for gatherings.
Just too much to do.
I think it really depends on how much joy you get out of it. I use one a couple times a day- but I buy special beans, I grind them with a grinder (not a chopper), and I’m not picky about the milkor flavors. I just want great coffee to wake me up and not kill my stomach. So maybe you just haven’t found the right beans and grind to fuel a proper addiction. heh.
Enjoyed coffee, not at all addicted.
In my 30’s used to drink maybe 10-12 6-8 oz servings/day til my MD/Homeopath asked me to go cold turkey on the caffeine. I did. No problems.
I still have my favorite roasts in decaf now, grind at home and occassionally go to a coffee shop with friends.
But just not a big deal. Would rather do Matcha if I wanted a ritual.
Sometimes taste changes.
