I am going to ask it - What is the expected battery life for this laptop?
And don’t give me that 8 hours jive. I want some real life experiential numbers.

8 hours

In real-life, approximately 7 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds… give or take a few hours.

9 hours, 4 minutes, 37 seconds. With porn it is only 47 minutes, 4 seconds. Granted, this all depends on the codec.

Dang it Woot, you go off getting married to Amazon and leaving me poor! I purchased this exact model at Best Buy for $269.99 and I’m outside of my 14 return period now! Curses! Curses! Curses!

Great netbook these are. The battery life is superb. One trick I do to preserve further battery life is to remote into my desktop and use that computer’s processor to run all the apps I want. It works perfectly this way!

When you get used to doing that, a netbook running Chrome OS will seem more and more feasible.

Seattle would totally win.

*160GB SATA Hard Drive3

Now, is that a hard drive cubed?.. or, is it a SATA 3 Hard Drive?.

Silly woot!! The Space Needle is a lover, not a fighter! And the Arch has those soft, feminine curves. OK, one curve. It is enough.

If it would let me change the desktop, I would give it 10 instead of 9 out of 10. It even functions after baking in 100 degree heat in my car for 8 hours.

I dare a Woot! staffer to confirm, here in writing, that the 90-day warranty comes from Gateway.

(Buyers beware, this is very probably another Woot! bait-and-switch; the warranty is likely from the refurbishing company and nowhere near as comprehensive as Gateway’s own warranty.)

Edit: I see that the warranty detail on the main page has been changed from 90 Day Gateway to the 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty. Thank you staffers!

Is it that the LT2108u black doesn’t have a multi in 1 card reader?
Or the LT2106u red doesn’t have a multi in 1 card reader cover?

This laptop will work great with Pixel Qi’s 10.1" screen - now available to DIYers from Maker SHED!
