Gateway M275X Notebook Tablet PC
The Power of a notebook. The versatility of a Tablet PC
$999.99 + $5 Shipping and Handling

No matter how you prefer to input your data, the Gateway M275X Tablet PC has you covered. If you are a traditional geek, the M275X is packaged with a flip-open full-size keyboard. If you’d rather work with a stylus, the unit’s swiveling display allows you to fold the screen flat to write and store information, sketch pictures and annotate documents via your own handwriting. Versatile, adaptable, compact and substantially more powerful than the majority of competing tablet PCs, the Gateway M275X is ready to handle virtually any situation and user preference.

The M275X is a road-warrior’s dream. Tipping the scales at just 5.7 pounds and measuring 12.6 by 10.8 by a mere 1.1 inches, the Gateway M275X is larger than many tablets but substantially slimmer and more lightweight than the notebook norm. Have you ever planned to work or watch a movie on an airplane only to find out that thanks to the jerk in the seat in front of you having his seat reclined - you can’t even open your notebook enough to see tthe screen? The M275X fixes that problem (no, it won’t kick the jerk’s butt for you) - just spin the screen around and you’ll have more than enough room to work or watch your movie.

The M275X features the Intel 855 chipset with an Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz CPU (with 1 full MB of Level 2 cache) and 512MB DDR SDRAM. A 30GB hard drive allows for most of your storage needs and the built-in combo CDRW/DVD drive allows you to back up system files, burn music to CDs and watch your favorite movies on the go. A 4-in-1 card reader is built in for easier file transfers from your digital camera or MP3 player. The 14.1 inch XGA LCD has a rotating hinge and works with the electromagnetic resonance pen for tablet functionality. The VGA port on the back of the M275X offers multiple monitor support so you can easily set up an additional monitor for easier multi-tasking. Since the M275X comes with Windows XP Pro Tablet edition - you also get handwriting recognition, digital ink technology, voice dictation and voice command built in.
