Does anyone have one of these and use it as a car dash cam? I want to get a cheap dash cam and the cheap ones might be worth it.

This camera is a waste of money! The battery life is only 5 minutes, and you can not charge it while the camera is on, making it useless.
is the software that comes with it compatible with Apple products of only MicroSoft? Is the softweare necessary? It only comes on a mini CD which I cannot use on my Mac.
