i need a pressure washer. havent researched them yet to see what would be a good one for us.

maybe something at Lowes since we have $100+ in gift cards to there.

this is tempting to just buy it so i dont spend days doing research on what i should get.

I got this at Lowe’s a couple of years ago during an after-Christmas sale. The price here is about the lowest I’ve seen. We’ve been pleased with its performance. My petite wife can even start it. The pump is usually the point of failure in all pressure washers. I read that the pump on this one is about the best you can buy in this price range, which is what sold me.

I was thinking of getting my home’s siding, I think this should be able to clean siding as well, anyone here have any comments how easy this pressure washer is to clean sidings?

I wish it was Generac’s 3100psi model. Or even better, their OneWash 2000-3100psi variable speed pressure washer.

I have no experience with this specific pressure washer (PW) but in general PWs do a great job of cleaning most materials. But the question is, What material is your siding? Vinyl or metal siding would clean well with this. If your siding is wood, you need to be careful with a PW. If you linger too long in a location it could strip the paint and even gouge the wood.

I’ve had a 3000 psi pressure washer for years. It does a fantastic job cleaning everything except concrete. It will clean concrete but another 500 psi would make it quicker. For my situation I wouldn’t want to go to 2700 psi but it may be fine for yours. It should do fine on decks and siding and other miscellaneous applications. Personally, if you want this PW, I would spend $20 more and buy it at Home Depot in case something goes wrong.

Over a US made Generac, are you kidding?

I have a Generac pressure washer that is close to 20 years old. Stone cold reliable. I also have a 2 year old Generac generator. Stone cold reliable. You get what you pay for, and this is a HECK of a deal on this PW.

This is a discontinued model: $300 on Amazon.

The Generac 6596 2,800 PSI 2.5 GPM 196cc OHV has similar specs and is $249 on Amazon.

Seems like a wash to me (pardon the pun).

Just found out that people were buying these for 150 at lowes about 4-5 months ago. Same model

Was just at Costco and saw a 2700 psi pressure washer with a real Honda OHV engine on it for $299.

IF you have a problem you can return it and or get a replacement.

Who is the engine manufacturer on this thing? Honda?
