I am really tempted to get this, but an online review on amazon said that this particular one broke after a few uses. I don’t want to be stuck with a lemon flat iron.

These carry the full 2yr GHD warranty. If you have any issues with warranty service, contact us and we’ll help you out.

GHD would not honor it for me at first, and sent me a preprinted form letter showing that woot and amazon are not authorized dealers (which seems crazy…amazon seriously?) I did not know Woot would help us but did get them to honor it “one time” with coaxing. Great straightener for the price… Best I have had of several kinds…just wish the warranty wasn’t sticky as I did need it.

I ordered this iron on the last offering and got a lemon. The plates don’t come together even with considerable pressure so the hair just slips out. Still waiting on a response from Woot from Dec 16.
