Can this be used as a si belt?
Hate to say it, but these are fairly bogus, and will actually do you more harm than good, if you’re looking to get a more in-shape waistline. By giving your body more support, they reduce the call for muscle use in your lower core, which leads to less muscle growth, and can actually cause muscular deterioration. Any “weight loss” from these is just sweat.
If you want a slimmer waist, don’t use these, and focus on diet and exercise. There are no quick fixes, sadly, but hard work can pay off. This is coming from a guy who has lost fifty pounds this year, the hard way.
It doesn’t look like it goes down low enough for an si belt, or not as far down as the ones I’ve used.
