Does this version have an LCD display or attachment capability?

You can use the GoPro app on most devices as a “remote” and to preview shots. https://www.cnet.com/products/gopro-hero3-plus-silver-edition/

As stated, you can link it to your smartphone via bluetooth, but there is also display attachment you can buy separately.

Is it manufactured by GoPro or third party?

I love how they try to pass off the list price of this at $299. Yeah maybe 5 years ago. The hero 5 Black is $249 a Wally World brand new.

Do you mean refurbished? It’s refurbished by a 3rd party.

.

Nope

Who did the refurbishing? Is the battery replaced/new?

While $85 for a real used GoPro (let’s be honest - if it wasn’t refurbed by GoPro, it’s little more than “used”) vs the compromise in the really old specs might be tempting seems like a poor tradeoff.

3rd party refurbished. The battery is checked and replaced if needed.

how can I get this deal before next Wednesday?

As an owner of this item, please note that there is an issue with the side wifi button that causes it to stick making it difficult to turn the wifi on and off. The momentary contact button doesn’t spring back out.The result is battery drain when you’re not using the device.
The problem was so bad that I had to open up the GoPro and physically remove the button. The service is still functional through the menu settings and everything else works great, just not a convenient feature anymore.
GoPro doesn’t have a fix and the model is too old to service under warranty.

When I try to link the camera to my phone I get that it’s an invalid serial number. Any suggestions?

If you don’t have any luck fixing it, please use the Woot Customer Service form for assistance.
