Geez, now I wish I’d ordered the breadmaker. That peanut butter bread sounds glorious! I bet it would be great, toasted and spread w/ Nutella. (…and I’m not even a big chocolate fan.)

This comes out of my pocket; this is just one of many, and I do mean many, charities I try to support.

White Chocolate Macadamia Bread

2/3 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp margarine or butter
3 cups bread flour
2 Tbsp sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
1/2 c chopped macadameia nuts
2 oz white chocolate baking bar chopped or
2 oz white chocolate chips (works best if frozen before adding to mix)

This recipe makes 1-1/2 lb loaf. Bake on white bread cycle.

Honey Grain Breadmaker Bread
1 1/4 cup warm water
2 tablespoons liquid honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup quick rolled oats
2 teaspoons granulated yeast

Put salt in the bottom of breadmaker and add all other ingredients except the yeast, oats and flour. Add the oats and flour. Make a well in the top of the dry ingredients and put in the yeast. Process.

Cinnamon Buns
1 cup water
2 teaspoon skim milk powder
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp butter
3 teaspoon sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cup white flour
1 teaspoon yeast

Process dough, use 1/3 for a mini white loaf of bread. For Cinnamon buns, roll rest of dough to about 1/2 inch, spread a thick layer of butter, and brown sugar over it, raisins/pecans optional. Sprinkle a good layer of cinnamon on top. Roll and slice into small Cinnamon buns. Place in a pan with more butter and sugar on bottom. Let it rise 45 minutes. Bake at 350F with bread for 20 minutes.

Banana-nut Wheat Bread
1 pkg Yeast
3 Cup Whole wheat flour
1 Tsp Salt
3 tbl Maple syrup
1 Tsp Maple extract (optional)
2 Cup Pecans
1 medium Ripe banana, sliced
1 Cup Warm water

Put all the ingredients into pan in the order listed, select “whole wheat” and push “start.”

Raisin Loaf
7 oz WATER (210 ML)
1 3/4 Cup BREAD FLOUR
4 Cup ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
2 Tsp NONFAT DRY MILK
2 Tsp SUGAR
1 Tsp SALT
2 Tsp BUTTER
4 Cup RAISINS
2 Tsp YEAST

PLACE INGREDIENTS IN BREAD MAKER IN ORDER SHOWN. USE SWEET MODE.

German Rye Bread
1 ½ lbs loaf

1 Tbsp active dry yeast
1 Tbsp caraway seeds
2 ½ cups bread flour
1 ½ tsp salt
2 ½ Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 ½ cups rye flour
1 ¼ cups warm water
1 ½ Tbsp butter
2 ½ Tbsp molasses

Carrot Bread
1 ½ lbs loaf

1 tsp active dry yeast
1 Tbsp sugar
3 cups bread flour
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
¾ cup carrot puree
1 egg
2 Tbsp+1 tsp butter
3 Tbsp warm milk
1 ½ Tbsp warm water

*prepare carrot puree by boiling them. Then liquefy them in a blender.
*do not add puree while it is hot or it will kill the yeast.

Banana Chocolate Chip Bread
1 ½ lbs loaf

½ cup milk
½ cup mashed ripe bananas
1 egg
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
3 cups bread flour
2 Tbsp brown sugar
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp active dry yeast
1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate pieces

1 part Wonder
1 part Bread

makes 1 loaf of Wonder Bread…

Great, can you be here by 7:00. BTW I’m still trying to round up some fruit cakes to send you. Most places only carry them during the Christmas season but I’ll find some or I’ll bake them myself (never tried to do 1 before).
