Yummy, I’m sure, but is this really a good price?
I was all excited that I was still online when the fresh Woots were posted, then I took a look here. Aw, nuts.
What’s the shelf life on this?
price looks great, but are these preservative-free?
Ignore the price and order three and hope for gourmet.woot.com.
Meh…never really cared for dried fruits containing sulfur dioxide.
Gourmet Woot? What a great idea!
The dried fruits aren’t. They are obviously preserved with sulfur dioxide, based on their appearance.
Peanuts, peanuts, peanuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds – for this money, where are the pecans?
or, the macadamias?
- What is the shelf life?
Depends on the product, but most of the nuts & dried fruits are best when eaten within 2-3 months, and can last anywhere from 6-8 months. It’s best to store these products in a cool dry place for maximum freshness.
I’m sorry to see these are so unhealthy or I’d gladly consider this . . . most everything appears to have been ‘candied.’ But it has at least reminded me of how much I enjoy dried fruit and nuts so I think I’ll search the 'net for some of the like in bulk . . . dried apricots make a good blender-drink!
I am just wondering what the ratio of peanuts to cashews to almonds is … if any math geeks are so inclined to pursue an answer…
I am just wondering what the apricot to pineapple to mango to papaya to banana chip to cranberry ratio is… for all the fruity math geeks to figger out.
Prepare to have your mind blown.

To add the obvious: nuts do tend to be high in calories, so eat just a handful at a time (especially the sugared ones!). And note that some of these are salted.
