Nobody needs this. Granite is awful for knives.
Yeah, I wouldn’t use it as a cutting board - but it would be a lovely serving board for a cheese tray.

This was supposed to be two different offers for two different size granite cutting boards. I purchased one of each. The smaller one was indeed granite and was very nice. The larger one was slate instead and came broken. It appears to be an error in sending the correct product.

Kneading dough maybe, certainly not for cutting. For a decorative piece in the showcase kitchens that aren’t actually used perhaps.
I wasn’t for sure how or where to address my problem with my order? I decided to start here as I see that at least one other person had same issue. I thought package seemed very light for marble when I brought my multiple packages inside from my order. Being busy doing/ attending to other things at that moment, I set boxes to the side to open at a later time.
When I opened the one that was supposed to be marble cutting board I was saddened to see a very thin slab of slate. It is so thin that some of the also sharp edges had already chipped off in transit. Upon trying to remove it from the Styrofoam even more pieces were falling off. Definitely not marble that I paid for, and so fragile that makes it pretty much useless and for sure not safe for food contact. : ( help please
