Gravocore- Home Gym Full Body Trainer

Any reviews by anyone who used this?

It’s very curious this system goes for $580 on the company website yet under $20 here. I know Woot! is a deal, but that is one heckuva-deal if it’s really worth that!

I’ve read reviews on the Big-A and elsewhere and see many non-purchasers degrading this product (wonder if they are from the competition?). I’m not a trainer or anything like that, but I know fitness from a former military standpoint and do see some cases where this might be beneficial. I’ll probably grab this since I’m now much older and far from my 6-minute-mile, PLF and pull-up days. And heck, it’s only an Andrew Jackson. If it doesn’t work, I can probably sell it in a garage sale for half that.

The point is, I truly doubt you can get the body of the hotties from their website simply by using this equipment but, for us older chaps (and dames), it might be something to get us moving enough to fight the muscle atrophy of working from home and not moving as much as we should. Combine with a better diet and daily walking and you won’t help but feel better.

-Cheers-

This would make a terrible clothes rack. You need something with a much larger footprint, like an exercise bike or elliptical. A multi-gym is the best though, some of them are bigger than closets.

But would it though?

Of course, I would think, that, a workout on top of a building would not be advisable… SNAP… Unless it’s being used as a bungee cord.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! For $20, it’s either a workout miracle or a future gift for my unsuspecting friend. I’ve definitely blown more on gym memberships that turned into expensive coat racks. I’ve skimmed through some online reviews, and if the build quality is decent, this might just be the fitness gadget of the year… or at least the month!

I missed out on getting this. Did a little research and then forgot to come back in time to order before it’s sold out. Anyone who got one care to share their experience? Anyone in Southern Cal buy more than they need?

OK, I was able to get one when Woot restocked and these went on sale again. I was finally able to give it a try. The equipment is rather solid and feels premium, which I expected based on the high retail price. This feels like a really great deal for just $20. Alas, I think I’ve found the big weakness with this device: with the large belt pad that supports your body. The surface of the pad that comes into contact with your body has a coating which is soft to the touch, but after just one use, it is starting to rub off against my clothing. Lots of little black particles that need to be cleaned up. Unless I just got a bad one, my guess is the material degraded over time, even just sitting in the warehouse. It’s a big enough issue that I would probably make a return. But also hoping I can just scrub away all the coating from the support pad and keep using this.
