I have to admit I enjoy our subtle cryptic members as well as our more open sharing ones.
Vive la différence!
Their comments can be considered purely for what they are, rather than in context of knowing more about the commenter.
Also, along those lines although the comments were very different, I really miss @no1 .
I have some PMs from people regarding my opening up (going back only to the beginning of the new forms, since old PMs didnât carry over).
They range from being fine with it, to having to some, to disliking my personality completely.
I concur
Sounds like a normal range to me (in the general world).
Usually in this place it seems folks are a little more tolerant. At least publicly. Sorry about the negative PMs. I canât figure why people would even bother to take their time to send such things.
There was a live grasshopper on my kitchen counter.
I donât know how it got in or how it passed through my cat army.
I put it outside. With the bird army.
There was a spider the size of a mouse in the house last night. The wife screamed a long terrified sound that made my blood curdle. I knew what is was immediately⊠It died quickly.

Sunny morning this morning.
May get a little rain this evening.
Winding up hoses & storing them away.
It has taken a lot of watering to keep up with the 3 month dry spell.
Friday-Monday should be really wet & windy.
Heading out to Goodwill & a few places this morning.
STAY GREEN!
Iâve killed a half dozen large spiders in the house this week.
The cooler weather is having them find the house I guess.
I use the âSquish & Releaseâ method when dealing with spiders in the house.
Also, the âSalt Rifleâ I have works perfect with spiders & itâs fun to shoot them!
I got a giant GREEN telescoping flyswatter in a BOC and it is becoming my best friend.
