Same, itās been bad.
Everytime we get a little rain people start burning. Thereās been a burn ban forever.

The rain has stopped and gusty winds are trimming trees. Methinks the neighbor will be unpleasantly surprised when she gets home.

I take Lady to the vet Wednesday. She has been very sick. I think we will have to put her to sleep. I canāt stop crying.
Yeah itās a law in the county I live in, you cannot do any open burning. Ever. You can have outdoor fireplaces and firepits.

Oh {{{{{Kat}}}}} I am so sorry, it seems like an epidemic among us. You honored your Momās wishes and gave her the best home, even though it wasnāt for as long as we would all like it to have been. May you comfort in good memories of her. We are here if you want to talk. I donāt know of anyone in here that this hasnāt hit by this.

Not so much here. New neighbor almost burned us down.
Idiot works as a tree trimmer and thought his new 11 acres would be great place to drop all the lumber and burn all the brush.
Dummy doesnāt realize that green brush donāt burn well, it smolders for days and takes off when it feels like it.
Second time he was burning during a high wind warning and the wife called the fire department (they told us to do so next time we see it happening)ā¦
So yeah, bad blood. Which is fine, he and his ilk are punks anyway.
I canāt imagine heāll live here the rest of his life. weāll wait him out.
Hasnāt burned since. Thank GOD. the wife is waiting for it to startā¦ Iām hoping he learned his lesson. Who knows.

Aw! I am so very sorry, @katblue. It sucks that it is so hard, but also realize you love her enough to end her pain and suffering. I know where you are and what you are feeling. I wish I could take it for you.

Make It! Fresh relish is really good if it is made right. Otherwise, no one will eat it as a leftover. Even if you freeze it and try to serve again next year. (Grandma) I laugh now and may you RIP.

Aw, I hope you all feel better soon. Iām not sure what crud I had back in May, but keep warm, sleep in a recliner if you can, and drink all the Gatorade.
