And will b closer 2 ur neck of the woods this weekend…house springs…my uncle jim is home, not doing well, officially AMA (against medical advice), checked himself out of hospital. He asked me 2 come help him and his live in friend. He is chair bound, long story…bless his heart…but his friend is just exhauted as he needs round the clock care and he refuses in home nurse 
so i hear i get the nite shift…ur prayers and good vibes r welcome.
Good news…outdoor veggie gardens doing well. We r now harvesting lettuce from out aero to vegetruc daily…cant beat that! Iris and peonies still blooming, martins r now abundant and very chatty…snagged a boc 4 hubs 2day.
Laundry done, bills pd, almost done packing…have 2 take long 45 min drive 2 town 2nite b4 i leave n morn, 2 get my script filled…glad i checked that b4 i took off

What’s going on? Tried to get caraway seeds at Kroger this morning. Cheap Kroger brand - none. Private Selection - none. McCormick - none. Spice Island - none. Is there a run on caraway seeds? Amazon has all different kinds, so someone here can make a suggestion. Spice Island Gourmet caraway seeds? A better brand? So any of you grow caraway?

Fennel seeds are the closest thing to Caraway.
They are close, but not the same thing.
My wife seems to choose Mccormick or Spice Islands a lot.

Agree fennel is kinda close. How about coriander?
My Grandpa used to work for Spice Island according to my mom, when she was a little girl. Sad he’d come home smelling like spices sometimes. She’s got some amazing spice cabinets and vintage bottles and tins. I’ve called dibs on them to inherit.
