Ahhh kittens are playing under the deck while mama is at work. Rosie fed and watered them and she’s babysitting.

Oh. And she told me she’s THE kitten, and to not even think about it.

  • The electric company does that too to make sure high electrical wires are free from branches. So many many trees here. The 100+ yr old black walnut in my front yard has a chunk taken out where power lines flow through.
  • The PNW get numerous wind storms, rain etc and ice build up isn’t kind to power lines. @daveinwarshington knows what I’m talking about.

Yeah eyes. Ugh. Can’t even watch horror films that have thins happening to eyes. (well not my kind of movie thing anyways)
I know someday I’ll have cataract surgery and that makes me queazy.
I’d do lazik since not a fan of wearing glasses yet that procedure scares me even more.

I decided today’s easy dinner is swedish meatballs in the crockpot. It smells wonderful in here!

Out there…a warm 20mph wind fart :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yes, that’s why we installed a whole-house automatic propane Onan generator in Warshington.
It surprisingly came on an average of 10 days a year (6 hrs or more each time) with November usually the strongest winds..
I love seeing Asplundh go by cutting trees near power lines.
It’s the same here but to a lesser amount due to more buried lines. We do get our winds here also.

Eating a banana for a snack. It would be better cold, but I forgot to put a couple in the refrigerator. Trying to decide what’s for supper. Poofguy suggested spaghetti and meatballs or getting a sub. Either would be okay, minimum cooking. I’d be just as happy to cook maybe one night a week. Maybe.

We had subs from Mr. Goodcents last night. So good!

Zilla and I are home safely from our mini-vacation. We had such a great time. Good food, relaxation, the Salt Cave, a little live music at the resort last night.

She is preparing to have some minor surgery on her back week after next. It will either be a laminectomy or a spinal fusion, depends on what they find when they get in there. She’s a little nervous, but she’s been in so much pain. I’m sure she will do fine and be glad she had it done.

She’ll do just fine. Then you’ll need another girls trip.
