Dad has made a project for himself. To replace the 4 bare bulb lights in my basement with tube type LED lights. And we are going to rewire so all come on at the same time instead of one switched and 3 on pull chains.
He brought fluorescent hoods with ballast removed. I bought new LED tubes. And 2 new shop lights.
So many cobwebs removed.

Good Morning Greens! Is 69° again on the patio, and wet. A decent thunderstorm has been dropping rain for hours. Loud rumbles and long flashes of lightning. The rain barrels will be filled up. Hubby is buying laptop accessories. A monster in creation. Saying “That is not necessary” now means it is in the cart. But so does “This would be nice.” AMZ loves him right now.

at the house waiting for dad’s home health aide & someone to deliver a shower chair and possibly put up grab bars.
warm day, mid 80’s and sunny. yesterday was low 70’s.

Good luck with the set up of things for your dad. My sibling and I spent the last few months getting my parents house more accessible: added more grab bars (heavy dad was using towel bar to support himself post shower and that is a no-no = (he fell and bruised his ribs and broke toe at the beginning of the year)
Some clothing that’s easier to use, slip in/velcro shows vs laces, new recliner with remote lifting option, upgraded stronger walker, some grabbers to reach things: very helpful when something drops and it’s difficult to bend over etc, new jar openers, and a small wedge-ramp for ease at front door.
He’s done with the prescribed PT and is back to driving again. We hope he continues his exercises on his own yet know physical activity isn’t part of his normal lifestyle. *sigh.
