Green Grotto 27: 🧀 Hanker for a hunk of cheese.

Mornin Greens! Speaking about weather, we have had a lot of rain finally and our grass is so green! Everything looks so pretty. I love summer but not the heat/humidity. The scenery is gorg! Eye update: the stitches are still driving me crazy, and it’s still pretty bloodshot. I can open it a little better now. I am down to one drop of prednisone a day now. I go back to Duke on the 18th.

Today’s WTF: Humans don’t always see their noses because our brains filter out “useless” things to better grasp our surroundings.

Oogie likes them burnt. But not that much. And i let them go too long. They ain’t cheap and i hate wasting food, so mustard, cheese, chili sauce and i choked them down.

muscle relaxant kicked in finally.
bringing my Enso unit (tens device) and some heat patches for the ride to NH.

I must admit that there’s no way on Earth I’d have eaten those charcoal wieners. I’d have gone out or searched for leftovers if all that was the last of the weenies. Chili on a bun with melty cheese is good too! (and onions).

I’ve botched this comment, too. Where did the second post go, with the whiny dog? While it is cute to watch the first 100 times, I think that’s the dog that lives next door and I often have visions of going out into the backyard, late at night, and permanently dealing with him and his noise – if you know what I mean.

made it up to NH this afternoon

warm & sticky but happy to be here

tried a new hotel. my family has been coming here for several generations. nice to find a room thst has been updated since 1945. it’s tiny, however. like in Japan. I’m not a fan of no dresser in the room when we’re here for 5-6 days, but we’ll make do. we have a nice river view.
