Went to a movie and out to dinner. Today is husbandās birthday. Going to a casino and having dinner there.
Talked to an old roommate last night. We only call each other on our birthdays and thatās it. Probably stems from when long distance calls cost real money. The calls are getting longer. Last night it was almost six hours.

maybe it is the time for 2 or 3 calls a year.
did you win anything??
and cakeā¦ did mr poof get a happy birthday cake??
and my big tv in the living is not working right. I bought the 3 year warranty so it is covered. repair guy came todayā¦ says it needs a new mother board and shit, be another week or so. donāt matter to me, if he canāt fix itā¦ I get a new one!! lol
they do the scope thingā¦
and put in a balloon type thing to stretch out the esphogus cause of the connection stuff and put shots of botox in it. for real.
mtn, can maybe explain it better.
OH!!! BUT THE BESTEST NEWS!!! IS THEY ARE TAKING OUT THAT NASTY GOD FORSAKEN J TUBE!!! WHOO HOO!!! (the j tube is the feeding tube that is inside his intestines)
Thatās what happened to mine. No warranty. Repair shop couldnāt find a motherboard. Too many went out and there were no spares to be had. He said heād keep an eye out for one (sure he will). So I got a new TV. And the old one is sitting until the next electronics recycle drive.
That was one of the things I mentioned. Thereās no back light so itās less strenuous on the eyes but it does mean youāll need a ābookā light to read in darker spaces. Sorry if that wasnāt clear before.
Sounds like heās getting the injections to keep his esophageal tract open. Botox tightens things up so they stay open (or lift wrinkles in the face). Probably different than what Mr. mbspell is having. Iām assuming theyāre just doing some more exploratory stuff with him.
Ugh, the worst. So glad itās coming out!
Thanks for the pic. I love that stuff. Looks like they went in laparoscopically and then did a thoracotomy on the right side.
They can stay with the house. They still look brand new because theyāre in the āgoodā room, but if you sit in one it takes an army to get you back out.
Watching my kids put together their houses, and how they despise nick nacks and hand-me-downs, has caused me to purge my own shit. I donāt want to burden them with it when I kick the bucket.
so his scans for the pneumonia showed something strange. so he had an upper GI to check that out. area A was ok, but they worried about area B. we canāt remember if he had 2 tests this year or 3. each one cleared one area but found a new issue. the good news is the results were fine and he wonāt need another scan for quite a while!!
he had the balloon thing once to stretch his esophagus, too, mick. he was feeling like something was caught in his throat. seemed to help.
That couch AND that chair. Iām almost positive my grandparents had the same couch and pattern in their house. The chair, my aunt and uncle had the same model (or similar) in their living room in red. Talk about a throw back.
when mr. mbspell and I got married and bought our first house, it had a partially finished basement. it was all wood paneling with a built in bar from the 60ās. and a couch they left from the 60ās, too. it was modular and orange. oof. my grandmother loved it, because it was very firm and easy to get up from.
