It comes on different times around the country. I think stations pick the times. I just get it early. I do not watch it in the morning, tape it. You know, I really hate commercials. I will pause live tv till time has passed, commercials gone.
My world is not much bigger, I’ve just been here longer…
I’ve been looking forward to this. I read online how they were going to do it, but didn’t understand it. I watched when they picked the teams.
They pick three teams to be in the first games, one each from those three played today, only one round of Jeopardy played today. I believe they said the tournament is for three weeks.
Saw this on the Jeopardy site:
The All-Star Games will air over the course of 10 weekdays from Wednesday, February 20 to Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Got the DVR set. Normally I do not record it. Unless I want to see somebody in particular from the day before and I won’t be home. Or during tournaments.
So…
When I picked up my car, they replaced a tire. Prorated it was $68 out the door. But I notice the sensor said 24psi. Maybe it hadn’t updated yet. Didn’t get in it at all Sunday. Monday morning I had to put air in it was still at 24. Made it about 32. Tuesday…it was 29. Down to 27 when I got to work. Looked and the screw was still in it. Used a coworker’s pump and went back to Conrad’s after work. They realized they screwed up and looked at the other front tire instead of the passenger rear. Maroons. So they checked and it could not be repaired. Another new tire. This time it was only 53 bucks. Not sure why it wore less than the other. I’ve now got 2 new tires. Maybe I should run over a couple more nails/screws. But what a pain in the ass.
Did they have any explanation as to WHY they replaced the tire that did not have a puncture in it? I think they owe you $68.
Reminds me of a tire shenanigan I had several years back. Brand new set of Michelins, one kept losing pressure.
“Oh, yes, Ms. Chev, we fixed your tire, it had a nail in it. We repaired it, and you’re good to go.”
Several trips back and forth to the dealer. Not fixed. Not fixed. Still not fixed.
Next place said that tire had never been repaired, but was not sealed properly.
Car was totaled 3 weeks later, so we will never know exactly. But I will never go back to Dealer #1 again.
Glad they aren’t surgeons, they would cut off the wrong appendage. They should have done the 2nd tire for free. Shit.
Shit. Were the tires worn much?
Sounds like a kinda screwed-up place.
If the manager doesn’t adjust $$ for you, I’d be looking for another place for tires.
I’ve used Costco for tires for quite a while now, they have done pretty good for me & I can shop while they fix it…
that’s how mr. mbspell does it. I swiffer. lol
my cats are not that helpful.
I decided not to set the alarm this morning and one decided to come up yelling until I was good and awake, then curl up next to me and go to sleep.
