Do any of you have name trends. Like people in your lives that are always good or bad with the same name?
Yes! Totally and I agree with āSteveā met some good ones but more unsavory
I like most Michelleās (my sister is one) but I feel they as a name group are drama queens if you ask them and they say they are not ask their family.
I Have a good deal of trouble with most Johns (not that kind of āJohnā)
I also used to have a hate on for the name Paula but as I look back I only ever disliked one. Soā¦
Well As I am never going to catch up I will say good night there.
Ps doing toys for tots and salvation army again this year. We have about 500 kids 0-17 that will get nothing because donations are so far down and I am not talking just toys and stuff they wonāt get clothes, hats, gloves, shoes or coats this is happening everywhere. So please if you see a sale where some of these things or toys are cheap buy 1 or 2 and when the barrels go out donate them you can even write it off on your taxes.
The local news station teams up with the Marines for Toys for Tots down here. They were saying this year they recieved the largest amount of donations ever at the studio. Maybe the people where you live are just stingy?
Itās the same here, according to the news, They are getting a lot of donations, they just have to get the gifts out to those that need it. Iāve also noticed the barrels put out are usually almost full. We mostly donate cash because I forget to buy a toy while in a storeā¦
Good Morning Greens! It is 33Ā° on the patio. Tomorrow, high winds will make it feel as low as -1Ā°. That makes my bones shiver! (prepping 41-hint hint.) The neighborās (3) inflatable graveyards are active. Cracks me up! Cookie baking this weekend. Peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip walnut and pecan wedding cakes. More Chex Mix because that stuff is like crack.
Enjoy Sunrise!
Mornin Greens! Took my time today getting this outā¦up since 3:00 but was still busy.
Todayās WTF: Dry Christmas trees spark more than joy.
Neglected, dried-out Christmas trees spark about 260 fires in the United States each year resulting in an average of 12 deaths, 24 injuries and $16.4 million in property damage, according to the Electrical Safety Foundation. An additional 150 fires are started because of holiday lights and other decorative lighting, resulting in an average of eight deaths, 16 injuries and $8.9 million in property damage per year. Not only will an errant spark ruin your holiday, it can put both residents and responding firefighters in danger.
I am 1/2 Italian, only the second generation of Americans, my grandparents immigrated in the late 1800ās, came through Ellis Island. I went to visit Ellis Island and found the manifest that shows my grandmother and great uncle on the ship Brittania, a sister ship of the Titanic.
The other half is Czechoslovakian. I traced that half on Ancestry and found all kinds of things! I got as far as my great-great-great-great grandmother who was Austrian back in the early 1700s.
So cool!
