Mornin Greens! I do love the quiet of the house this time of morningâŚplaying some soft jazzâŚ
Todayâs WTF: Competitive art used to be an Olympic sport. Between 1912 and 1948, the international sporting events awarded medals for music, painting, sculpture and architecture. Shame it didnât catch on, the famous pottery scene in Ghost could have won an Olympic medal as well as an Academy Award for the best screenplay.
Wonder if I could have crocheted my way to the olympics?
Good Morning Greens! The bottom almost fell out of the temps. It is currently 35° on the patio and we will be lucky to see a 10 degree warmup. Hubby is smoking ribs today and invited friends. I guess we shall feast and I have sides and a dessert to figure out. We are going to try new burners for the stove. It better work. If it doesnât, then the appliance guy, then the recycler. We shall see.
Enjoy Sunrise!
Good Morning. Nice day today, weâre meeting with family to get professional pics taken today. Probably outside pics as itâs sunny out but I donât know. Our daughter picked out what she wants me to wear so no jeans & tshirt I guessâŚ
Happy National Welsh Corgi and Horse Protection Day! And also⌠Pig Day - in honor of my Dad because he has a thing for pigs. In fact, he has a whole pig sty in his back yard.
The bike shop in Peninsula burnt to the ground yesterday. The building has been there since 1890. Century Cycles was there for many years until Eddieâs moved in last year. Closed for the season and they were remodeling. The lady who owns the building lives across the road. This is a long the canal Towpath Trail thru the national park and they rented bikes. Most likely will not be rebuilt.
